Participate!

We are looking to find out more how educators, librarians, educational assistants, and administrators, within Canadian elementary schools, enact social and emotional learning within their practice.

We are hosting individual virtual interviews to discuss social and emotional learning.

Who can participate?

If you are an elementary teacher, librarian, or educational aid in Alberta, we welcome you to participate in a one-on-one interview.

We have currently met our quota for other provinces, and are only recruiting within Alberta, at the moment. We thank you for your interest.

Why interviews?

Interviews will allow you to speak one-on-one with Heather (the researcher) about your social and emotional learning practices. It is a dialogue between you and Heather delving deeper into your experiences.

Interviews

What is involved? We will set a time to chat about how you enact social and emotional learning within your practice, whether that is an elementary classroom, a library, or other educational settings. We will chat about what social and emotional learning means to you, what it looks like, and how you have developed your knowledge in this area. The interview should take about 40 minutes.

Who can participate? We are hoping to talk to Alberta elementary-level educators, librarians, support staff (e.g., educational aid), and administrators.

How can I participate? You can select a time from the link below. I will send you a Zoom link where we will meet for the interview. I will be in touch before our meeting to answer any questions you may have.
